.ro, .com.ro, .org.ro domains as well as international domains such as .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .eu, can be only registered after payment confirmation. If Credit Card, PayPal or PaySafeCard payment methods are used, domains are registered in seconds.
Follow the steps to register the domain and during the ordering process you choose to register the domain without web hosting.
1. If you will be hosting the domain with us, the order form has already filled in the fields for nameservers with ours: ns1.server.ro and ns2.server.ro
2. If you want to host the domain with another provider then we recommend that you find out what nameservers should be attached to the domain when registering. You can request this information from your provider.
It depends on the DNS zone settings. What we can say for sure is that, both in our case and in the case of other providers that offer clients the cPanel solution, the DNS zone created by default allows the domain to work with or without www in front. If you choose to manage your DNS zone yourself, you must know how to properly configure the domain area so that it works both ways.
For the .ro domains and its derivatives, you must declare either the Personal Identification Number in case the registration will be made on a private person, or the tax data if the domain owner will be a company. In the case of private persons, the data of the holder displayed in WHOIS are kept confidential, according to RoTLD policy. The .eu domains can only be owned by private or legal persons residing or operating in the territory of the European Union. The .pro domains are strictly reserved for use by companies or authorized professionals regardless of their location. Individuals cannot have a .pro domain. For other extensions the rules of the registers will apply.
For the transfer of your domain to us you will need the EPP code or the transfer authorization code. Also, before you begin the transfer procedure, you must ensure that the "Registrar Lock" option is not activated in the old registrar, an additional security measure that can prevent unauthorized transfers of your domain, even if for a reason or another the security of the EPP code was compromised.
For the .ro domains and its derivatives the privacy function is automatically activated in the case of private persons and automatically deactivated for legal persons/companies. You cannot change the status of these settings either at registration or later. RoTLD has chosen a strict policy of protecting (or not protecting, as the case may be) the data of domain holders. The Privacy Protection feature can also be enabled for .com, .net, .org domains or any other extension that allows Privacy Protection. It is worth remembering that for the international domains the activation of the Privacy Protection function is for a fee.
