SSL Certificates
with installation and management via SSL Managed by NAV
The SSL certificate is today an industry standard used by millions of websites worldwide to protect all communications and data transmitted online via websites.
Your website becomes safer with an SSL certificate installed
An SSL certificate secures your online business and drives a high number of loyal, satisfied customers.
Why you need the managed SSL service:
Enjoy simplicity without stress! Let the NAV specialists work for you.
We will make sure your website is secured with SSL.
Additional security
Your website is up with the strongest possible encryption. When customers see your site validated with an SSL certificate, it shows them that an extra step has been taken to ensure secure data exchange.
Always safe
Without a properly configured SSL certificate, browsers and major search engines will flag your website as "Not secure." Visitors will see a warning that may dissuade them from continuing — or simply scare them off. Fortunately, our SSL management service prevents this.
Long-term security
Our SSL certificate management service provides long-term protection. We make sure the SSL certificate on your site is renewed and updated on time, so you can focus on other important things — like running your business.
The SSL management service prevents the following common errors:
SSL certificate not found
"SSL certificate not found".
If the SSL certificate on your site is installed incorrectly, visitors may see a "certificate not found" error. Our installation ensures that this never happens.
HTTPS redirect failure
"HTTPS redirect failure".
A site not properly configured for SSL can produce this error message — frustrating visitors trying to access your site. Fortunately, our SSL installation process prevents this.
SSL certificate mismatch
"SSL certificate mismatch.".
We make sure your site is properly validated before completing the SSL certificate installation, preventing this error from appearing on your website.

Your Question, Our Answer
Once we install the SSL certificate on your site and verify everything works correctly, you will receive an information email from us.
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a standard security protocol that establishes encrypted links between a web server and a browser, ensuring that the communications between the web server and the browser remain encrypted — and therefore private.
SSL certificates inspire trust and show visitors that you value their privacy. An SSL certificate protects sensitive customer information — such as name, address, password, or credit card number — by encrypting data during transmission from their computer to the web server. SSL is the standard for web security, and an SSL certificate is required to sell services online. For example, if you intend to accept credit cards on your site, an SSL certificate is mandatory.
First, our SSL certificates cover unlimited secure servers. They support up to 256-bit encryption and are recognized by all major desktop and mobile browsers. We are also backed by the fastest SSL installation service. There is no technical difference between our SSL certificates and those offered by other companies — except that we can beat any market price. And yes, no surprise we are the largest SSL provider in Romania — OnSSL.ro.
We will answer a few questions to help you find the SSL certificate you need:
1. Where are you located?
Our certificates are issued worldwide, with a few exceptions.
2. Do you run a business or personal site?
If you do not sell products on a personal site, a standard SSL (DV) is sufficient. The same applies to informational business sites. E-commerce sites should use an EV SSL — Extended Validation — for a single domain.
3. What kind of web hosting server do you use?
SSL certificates work on many or even multiple server types (Apache, Nginx, etc.). To protect multiple domains on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Exchange Server 2010, or Live® Communications Server, you need an SSL certificate for multiple domains: UCC — Unified Communications Certificate.
4. Do you need to protect multiple domains?
SSL Wildcards cover multiple subdomains. For example, use a Wildcard to protect *.example.com — covering shop.example.com, www.example.com, and any other subdomains.
UCC SSLs (Unified Communications Certificate) will cover multiple domains, subdomains, and websites. For example, you can secure www.example.com, mail.example.com, and www.otherexample.com.
5. Do you need an SSL certificate that supports Intel vPro technology for remote PC management?
Then you will need an OV — Organization Validation — certificate.
A Unified Communications Certificate (UCC) is an SSL that secures multiple domain names and multiple host names for a single domain name. A UCC SSL lets you secure a primary domain and up to 99 additional domains (Subject Alternative Names — SANs) with a single SSL. For example, a UCC can be used to protect www.example.com, www.example.net, and www.example.org.
UCCs are compatible with shared hosting and are ideal for Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007, Exchange Server 2010, and Microsoft Live® Communications Server. However, the site seal and the "Issued To" certificate field will display only the name of the first domain. Note that all secondary hosting accounts will also be displayed in the certificate, so if you do not want the sites to appear "linked," you should not use this type of certificate.
A Wildcard SSL certificate protects the main domain and an unlimited number of subdomains. For example, a single Wildcard certificate can secure both www.example.com and blog.example.com.
The Wildcard certificate secures the domain and all subdomains at the level you specify when submitting the SSL certificate request.
