Deletion of a .us domain is performed 90 days after the domain's expiration date if, during this interval, the holder does not renew their right of use by paying the annual maintenance fee and, where applicable, the quarantine fee.
Following deletion, the domain becomes available for registration on a "first come, first served" basis.
The deletion of .us domain names is processed automatically based on the availability of the RoTLD Registry servers.
